Will this be the new top model Range Rover ? If BMW has it's way,
the picture you can see at left is it ! The story was first reported by
a spanish magazine, 4x4 Solo Auto, they published a report over a
V12 Range Rover which will be officially unveiled early in 2001.
The article stated that the new Range Rover will be based on the
new BMW X5 floor pan. It's expected the BMW V8 will be standard
and the 400 hp 6 lt V12 will be the only option available. More news
over Range Rover is the return of the Vogue. Both the Vogue and the
Country will have as standard equipment: automatic climate control,
cruise control, double airbags, 4 channel ABS system, leather interrior
and traction control. For the new Country, the new 2.5 lt TD5 with
intercooler will be standard and the 4.0 lt V8 will be an option.
There will be 4 colours to choose from.

A PORSCHE PICKUP ???
There's still some decission making to be done, but it looks pretty certain that Porsche will launch
an SUV around 2002. More than likely, it will be a luxury pickup for those who can afford to buy one.
More over this at a later date.
